Inclusion and multiplayer access are separate
The Xbox product page sells Hell Let Loose: Vietnam as a separate product and states the console multiplayer subscription requirement. That requirement means an eligible subscription is needed to play online on console. It does not mean the subscription grants ownership or catalogue access to the base game.
This distinction is the central answer. Many store pages place the purchase price and online requirement close together, which can make them appear related. Treat them as two checks: first, how the player obtains the game; second, what the console requires for online multiplayer.
Current inclusion status
At the August 14, 2026 research check, no reliable source established that the base game was included in Game Pass. The store presented a purchase price, and the supporting research described Game Pass: No. Because catalogue status can change, this is a dated answer rather than a permanent prediction.
Do not write “never coming to Game Pass.” Absence today does not establish the publisher’s future plan. Update the page only when the official Xbox catalogue or an official publisher announcement confirms a change.
What the required subscription does
Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is an online multiplayer game built around 50v50 battles. On Xbox consoles, online multiplayer access requires the eligible subscription currently named on the regional store page. Product names and tier structures can change, so users should follow the live wording rather than an archived screenshot.
The subscription supports the console’s online access. It does not add maps, weapons, roles, or Deluxe cosmetics to a separately purchased Standard edition. Edition contents are defined by their own store packages.
How to verify before purchase
Open the regional Xbox product page while signed into the account that will buy the game. Look for a purchase price or ownership state, then read the online multiplayer requirement. Separately search the current official Game Pass catalogue for the exact product name.
If the catalogue offers a discounted purchase rather than an “included” installation, the game is still being sold separately. Read the checkout item and entitlement before paying. Regional prices and subscription names should not be copied from another country.
Play Anywhere does not mean Game Pass
The Xbox listing includes Xbox Play Anywhere, which is a different feature. It concerns supported Xbox and Windows devices in the Microsoft ecosystem, not automatic Game Pass catalogue inclusion. A product can support Play Anywhere and still require a separate purchase.
Cross-platform multiplayer is also separate. It concerns who can play together, while Game Pass concerns catalogue or subscription access. Keep these concepts in different sections so a user does not make a purchase decision from the wrong badge.
Standard and Deluxe editions
If purchasing the game, compare the Standard and Deluxe packages directly. Deluxe includes cosmetic content connected to the 2026 Field Supplies offering; the collected research does not show gameplay power, extra maps, or exclusive weapons. A Game Pass multiplayer subscription would not automatically convert Standard into Deluxe.
Check whether delayed cosmetic items have been delivered and whether any former preorder item is still sold separately. These facts can change after launch. The edition comparison page maintains the detailed list.
Update policy
This page should show a checked date near the answer. Recheck the official Xbox catalogue, product page, and publisher announcements whenever a major Game Pass update or sale occurs. Remove the “not included” answer immediately if official catalogue access appears.
Until that happens, the accurate wording is limited: inclusion was not verified on August 14, 2026; a separate purchase was shown; and an eligible console multiplayer subscription was required. It avoids turning a current store observation into an unsupported permanent claim.
